Cookie notice
Draft for the club to review. This text describes how the website works today. The committee should check it, fill in the bracketed details and approve it before the site goes live.
The short version
This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and doesn’t track you. That’s why there’s no cookie banner.
What the site stores
- Shop basket. If you add kit to your basket, the items are saved in your browser’s local storage (“tcc-basket-v1”) so they’re still there if you reload the page. It never leaves your device until you choose to pay, and it’s cleared once your order is confirmed. You can remove it at any time by emptying your basket or clearing your browser data.
Other services
- Stripe. When you pay for sponsorship or a pre-order you move to Stripe’s secure checkout, which sets its own cookies to prevent fraud. See Stripe’s cookie settings.
- Play-Cricket. Scorecard links open the Play-Cricket website, which has its own cookie policy.
- Maps. “Get directions” links open Google Maps in a new page; no map is embedded on this site.
