Draft for the club to review. This text describes how the website works today. The committee should check it, fill in the bracketed details and approve it before the site goes live.
Our commitment
The club follows the ECB’s safeguarding policy, “Safe Hands”. Everyone who coaches, manages or regularly volunteers with children holds an up-to-date DBS check and safeguarding training. [Confirm wording and link to the club’s own policy document.]
How to raise a concern
- If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999.
- Otherwise, speak to the Club Welfare Officer as soon as you can, in person or through the contact form.
- If the concern is about the welfare officer, or you’d rather talk to someone outside the club, contact the county welfare officer at Gloucestershire Cricket [add contact details] or the ECB safeguarding team.
Photography
We never publish photographs of named children on this website. Parents and carers can ask us not to photograph their child at all; let the welfare officer or your child’s coach know.
